DEAR BARBIE's,

Today, I was on my face book and was introduced to some other “Barbie’s” and let me say, I was really offended.

Let me start by saying that just because you call yourself a Barbie dose not mean that’s what you are. Being a Barbie goes way further than liking the color pink and enjoying to spend money. It doesn’t take hard work to be a Barbie but it does take dedication.

Barbie is a leader, a role model, a hard worker, a big spender, a lover, a fighter, a friend, and most of all a phenomenal woman.

Even though Barbie spends big, she works hard. She doesn’t sell herself cheap, everything she has, she worked for it, and everything she does empowers women.

With that being said, let me say how confusing it is to see “Barbie’s” bragging on how they used this man for some money, putting down other females, shaking they’re booties on you tube, and promoting hatred of all kinds. That’s sick and very unattractive. It reveals your insecurities. It’s even more sick that these girls think it makes them cute. That type of female is called a Brat.

Just incase your not sure what a Brat is, let me tell you.

The Brat Dolls where created by a man who worked for Matell on the Barbie team and decided to make his own Dolls “borrowing” a few things he liked about Barbie. These dolls where (not) as cute as the Barbie’s, and promoted friendship, girl power and individuality, just like Barbie.

The difference, these girls where Junior high students who wore skimpy clothing, thongs, talked about how the cloths made the girls and blah blah blah. From what I got when I saw the Bratz, was stanky Barbie wanna be‘s. They inspired to be Barbie’s, and they failed, horribly.

Needless to say the production of the dolls where shut down, and now they are selling the LEFT OVERS.

Do you see what I’m saying, this attitude is cheap, and tasteless, and just because you slap the Barbie name on it doesn’t make it all of a sudden cute. Its still tacky, a knock off . Its placing a real Barbie next to those ugly (wanna be) Barbie’s the dollar tree sell, you know the kind that spreads her legs wide when you make her sit down, yeah, that one.

So I write you Barbie’s today to ask you to be the female you claim you are. Support and inspire your fellow Barbie’s (and females), work for yours, don’t depend on no man for nothing, and use your talents for good. You got a big following a Youtube, use it to promote girl power, not hate, be the bigger person in everything you do.

Don’t be a Brat calling your self a Barbie.

This letter was not to offend any one it was to shine a light on this situation, and let everyone know what us Barbie’s are being called when our backs are turned.

With that being sad, I hope all is well.
Pink, Love n Happiness!

- Luv Barbie
