When you’re a little kid, you believe there is nothing you cant do. I wanted to be a singer, photographer, a Victoria Secrets model, dancer, actress, writer, artist, fashion designer, Raiders Cheerleader, President, and a lawyer all at one time. And I never believed that I couldn’t be all of those things. As I got older a lot of those ideas fell off. I either felt like I wasn’t smart enough, wasn’t tall enough, wasn’t pretty enough, or just couldn’t do it. But Would if I could?
So I’m sitting here in my living room watching the Victoria Secrets 2010 Fashion show in amazement and my phone beeps, indicating that I have a text message. Which reads “I would do ___ if I could.”
I thought it over, thinking of all the things I would do if I could:
I would travel the world.
By my dream car.
Become a Raiderette.
Write a Book
Start my Own fashion line
Go Sky diving
Open a Homeless Shelter
Mentor a Girl
Design for Barbie…..
The list went on and on and on, then a silent question came to mind: “Why wont you?”
That’s what I don’t have the answer to, or at least didn’t want to admit the answer to.
It would be easier to blame the reason why I haven’t went for even the smallest dream, is because of everyone else. I cant do this because of …, I cant start now because …When the truth is, “I wont do nothing because I’m scared. I’ve read about the shortest model, I saw the girl with no dance training make the cheerleading team, so I see that what I want to do, can be done. And it can even be done better. So I can’t lie and say it’s not possible? It’s like I’m literally stand in my own way of living my dreams.
Why?
Is it the fear of failing? Embarrassment?
I think that’s what it was for me. What if I tried and failed?
But what if I tried and succeeded? And not only succeeded but was the best? Would if I make history? What if I changed the world?
It’s a bit extreme, but why not? We have just as much a chance to succeed at what we want to do as we have a chance to fail, so why automatically think about failing?
To cushion the fall if or when we do fail.
I guess it’s like security, failing is a huge ego crusher, and I thought that if I prepare myself for the worst, it wouldn’t hurt so bad when the worst actually happened. Of course this type of thinking is wrong. The anxiety of failing is usually the reason we fail, it either clouds our brain to the point that we mess up or we just don’t do it. But it could fuel the fires of desire and propell me into greatness. I thought it over, the thought of failure….it hurts, but I don’t die, and everyone knows the saying, “What doesn’t kill you make‘s you stronger.”.
You fall down trying to work your first pair of Barbie heels but that doesn’t stop you from putting them back on and walking in them again and again and again until your walk in those shoes put Ms. J’s to shame. Failing should push you toward perfection. It does for me. Tell me I cant, so I can show you I will, tell me I can’t have it so I can get it, tell me it’s impossible, so I can prove that it is so very probable.
I guess, I’m willing to take the embarrassment of failing just so I can say I did, at least, try. I know how to laugh at myself, and I see the hidden lesson in every situation. So, I’m eager to learn, I pick up on things quickly and easily, and since I see that the only thing that was standing between me and everything I want to do and be, was me. Now I’m ready to step out on faith, and make things happen the way I want them to happen. Now the question is… Where do I start?

M.I.P: Missing In Pink

Ive been gone for so long! 2 whole months of running away from problems, I fell like Ive been gone for so long
During the last 2 months of my absence, things have been….tough. It seemed like no amount of pink, candy, ice cream ;) or Barbie dolls would cheer me up.
I'm not going to say I’ve been going threw it, because it’s life, and some times in life shortage happens. I will say that depression blows, and loneliness suck balls. With that being said, I'm ready to leave gloom-ville and go back to Barbie World. First step is to get back on the blog hog (lol).
I absolutely love blogging, it’s like free therapy to me, and those two months with out it just kicked my ACE! (lol) I have decided that I will commit the time I usually spend stressing about shitake on blogging and maybe even vlogging once I build up the courage to do so.
NO excuses this time, I will stick to it, Pinky Promise J

Boys are like Ice Cream....

...So many flavors, why stick to just one?
Soooo I was talking to a friend about a guy Im talking to, and I showed him a picture of him and she was so grossed out. So Im like "What? You think he's ugly?" and she gose, "Well... He's white." Really?
I laughed at that but was out done when she went on about how she would never date out side her race. Why? Just because.
Are we still in that stage where iterracial dateing is scarey?
I think it would be completly crazy to only date within one race, I mean besides the fact that guys date outside thier race all the time, how stupid would it be to turn down a person who likes everything about you because he's a different race then you are?
I say enjoy the different flavors out there. I love cookies 'n' cream ice cream, but sometimes I'll go for Vanilla or mint chocolate chip. I mean, there are so may flavors! Why stick to just one?

IF YOU CAN'T SAY NOTHING NICE....

Some females always showing thier bad sides.
I cant understand why females fell the need to put the next girl down. I really cant believe it makes them fell better about them selves, it just makes no sense to me.
My granny told me when I was younger "If you dont have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all." I guess I just figured every one had that little talk and adapted it to thier everyday life, obviously I was wrong.
I seriously watched a few girls whole day get ruined because some females entered the the room their space. It's so sad, as if males dont hate on belittle females enough, we (not including me) happily do it to eachother. Then when it gets turned back around they sit there confused as to why they getting hated on.
The saddest part is its not even called for. Why not tell that girl her hair is cute instead of mugging hella hard, or do everyone a favor and STFU!!

DEAR BARBIE's,
Today, I was on my face book and was introduced to some other “Barbie’s” and let me say, I was really offended.
Let me start by saying that just because you call yourself a Barbie dose not mean that’s what you are. Being a Barbie goes way further than liking the color pink and enjoying to spend money. It doesn’t take hard work to be a Barbie but it does take dedication.
Barbie is a leader, a role model, a hard worker, a big spender, a lover, a fighter, a friend, and most of all a phenomenal woman.
Even though Barbie spends big, she works hard. She doesn’t sell herself cheap, everything she has, she worked for it, and everything she does empowers women.
With that being said, let me say how confusing it is to see “Barbie’s” bragging on how they used this man for some money, putting down other females, shaking they’re booties on you tube, and promoting hatred of all kinds. That’s sick and very unattractive. It reveals your insecurities. It’s even more sick that these girls think it makes them cute. That type of female is called a Brat.
Just incase your not sure what a Brat is, let me tell you.
The Brat Dolls where created by a man who worked for Matell on the Barbie team and decided to make his own Dolls “borrowing” a few things he liked about Barbie. These dolls where (not) as cute as the Barbie’s, and promoted friendship, girl power and individuality, just like Barbie.
The difference, these girls where Junior high students who wore skimpy clothing, thongs, talked about how the cloths made the girls and blah blah blah. From what I got when I saw the Bratz, was stanky Barbie wanna be‘s. They inspired to be Barbie’s, and they failed, horribly.
Needless to say the production of the dolls where shut down, and now they are selling the LEFT OVERS.
Do you see what I’m saying, this attitude is cheap, and tasteless, and just because you slap the Barbie name on it doesn’t make it all of a sudden cute. Its still tacky, a knock off . Its placing a real Barbie next to those ugly (wanna be) Barbie’s the dollar tree sell, you know the kind that spreads her legs wide when you make her sit down, yeah, that one.
So I write you Barbie’s today to ask you to be the female you claim you are. Support and inspire your fellow Barbie’s (and females), work for yours, don’t depend on no man for nothing, and use your talents for good. You got a big following a Youtube, use it to promote girl power, not hate, be the bigger person in everything you do.
Don’t be a Brat calling your self a Barbie.
This letter was not to offend any one it was to shine a light on this situation, and let everyone know what us Barbie’s are being called when our backs are turned.
With that being sad, I hope all is well.

Happy Birthday to a GREAT! TuPac Shakur

Tupac Shakur is undoubtedly one of the most successful, greatest, MCs of all time. Even after his death, he has sold a total of 67 million records worldwide making him the highest selling rap/hip-hop artist of all time. 2Pac was much more than just a rapper. He stared in a few movies like "Poetic Justice" with Janet Jackson, and "Juice." His strong lyrical content grew a huge array of followers, making him a hero among millions. He was a great poet and his theory on life influenced his fans to a huge extent. He was indeed the diamond in the ruff, the Rose That Grew from Concrete, whose ever-successful work couldn't have been more admired and loved.
R.I.P Tupac.
You are greatly missed
“Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight
Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?
someone tell me y” - Tupac Shakur

What A Pretty Little Lie

Talk about a break through. Pretty Little Liars came in just in time to be my Summer’s new obsession!
I remember walking threw Borders and seeing the pretty Dolls on the covers of the books by Sara Shepard, but at that time I was obsessed with vamps and werewolves, and walked pass it. Now I wish I would’ve picked one up!
The show is so freaking alluring, and I mean from Aria hooking up with the cute guy at the Diner (who we later find out is her TEACHER), to the mysterious letters being left for the girls signed by A (Alison), the friend who came up missing a whole year ago! And all the secrets swimming threw the city only makes it that much more mouth watering.
SO! Let me tell you what the series (and Book) is about:
The small town, Rosewood, is the perfect example of the saying “The smaller the town, The Bigger The secrets.” This small town is full of the dirtiest, raunchiest, wickedest secrets you can think up, and the biggest secret revolves around four (some what) good friends.
Aria, Spencer, Hannah and Emily are (not so) close friends who are tied together by a dark secret that began a year ago when their friend/ H.B.I.C(Head Barbie In Charge) Alison (A) comes up missing. Since then the four girls have separated swearing to keep the secret of what happened (or didn’t happen) the night of Alison’s disappearance to them selves, which they did, or so they thought.
Here it is a whole year later and they are all back together again at the same school, and out of know where they start to get these letters speaking of personal secrets that only Alison would know. And on top of that, Alison’s body is finally discovered!
Now that Alison has been put to rest, the missing case has been quickly shifted into a murder case and guess who the main suspects are? Spencer, Aria, Hannah and Emily.
I don’t want to give away toooo much of the first episode because watching it will have you on the edge of your seat screaming “WHAT THE EFF HAPPENED TO JENA?!” Especially after all four of the girls receive a text from A at her funeral saying “Im still here Bitches.”
Since I have a lot of questions and ZERO patience, I have to go get the book (ALL 8 of Them!) like now. It is a must that I know what Alison did to Jenna and what is the secrets the rest of the girls are hiding.
Any way the show is a must watch, it comes on ABC family on Tuesdays at 8, and you should also get the books (all 8). You can order them from prettylittleliars.com or get them at any book store.
Don’t forget to follow them on twitter @ABCFpll and @little liars.
Untill next time!

THINK PINK GO GREEN SAVE THE WORLD

When I was younger in Elementary, I couldn’t wait till Earth Day came around. That was the day when we would plant a tree, work in the schools garden, or clean up a near by park.
Since Elementary school, Earth Day has been invisible to me until lately.
It was really nice to see people out riding bikes instead driving there cars. I was one of them people, but what happens after that?
Back to the hair spray, driving and littering?
I don’t think so.
We unnecessarily destroy our earth by complete accident (some times), we so don’t have to. Here are easier ways to go green and stay green for the rest of your live. :D
1. Toss It- It is so annoying to be walking down the street and see a trash bin on every corner but trash is still all over the street. It’ll literally only take a second to pick it up and walk it to a trash bin. And on another note, MEDICATION! We have been told to flush old pills so younger kids wont get to the, but it is much better to toss them. The medication goes to water streams and take horrible effects on our sea critters, frogs and other wild life.
2. BYOB- Bring Your Own Bag! All most every store sales reusable bags, and most places like Forever 21, and Bebe have really cute designs, and there cheep. Instead of getting a plastic bag every time you go shopping, BYOB, most places (like Target) take off about 10 cent on your purchase for every reusable bag you bring. So not only is this saving the world, its also saving you money, talk about killing two birds with one stone (not literally).
3. Unplug IT- A lot of people think that they are saving energy by turning things off, which is some what true for certain things, but with majority of the electronics we use having stand by as an option, its some what not at the same time. Instead of pushing the power button on your way out, unplug it. Unplug that tv, the fan, that cell charger, and anything else that doesn’t have to be running when its not in use. It uses up so much unnecessary energy, and it makes the PG&E bill look sooooo much prettier.
4. Clean Green- I was watching this show abut frogs on the discovery Channel and apparently the things we use to clean house with are taking a horrible toll on them. Since we usually wash these products down the drain they get to the water supply for our animals, and these are the cause of the frogs with male and female parts, fishes with four eyes and so on and so forth. So instead of buying the regular cleaning things, invest in products that has a green leaf on them. This means they are friendly to the people in the huse and the wild life out side.
5.Good Eats- Try organic food. it’s a wee bit pricey but its good for your body and the earth. There are a lot of unnatural things that are used to produce a lot of things we eat today, besides the odd effect it has on the human bodies ( early puberty, obesity, heart disease), it takes a bigger effect on the world. Theres a lot of different things that are used to make our foods grow faster that also double to kill insectst that are apart of the circle of life. With out these things, we are thrown out of whack!
6.DON’T SPRAY IT!- Hair spray, pan spray, can paint, the list goes on. A lot of these sprays eat at our o-zone layer and causes global warming! Gels and greases are better and are more effective for hair, and olive oil and butter is more healthier for cooking.
7. Stop Riding Dirty- This is going to be hard because it was a bit difficult for me to do for a day. Put the car keys down sometimes! Public transportation is great on saving energy, and riding a bike is even better! If your close enough to the store, work or school, go ahead and walk, or carpool. And if you’r able to bye a car, why not invest in a Hybrid?
8.DON’T BE STINGY!- Sharing really is caring, and during this day and age, we can be a bit more generous with things like water. The average person uses 60 gallons for a shower, so instead of taking that long shower, cut it down by half the time, run the dish washer instead of washing the dishes and turn the water off when your brushing your teeth.
9.RECYCLE- Although everyone knows about recycling and, not even half of America’s actually do it. Its not that hard, keep to cans in the house, one for recyclables and one for trash. Keep an eye out for the recycle signs on containers before you toss them. A lot of cities have places that will take bags of cans, cartons and glass and will give you for them.
10. SPREAD THE WORD! Tell your friends, and family about how easy and effective it is to change the little things you do on regular basis into Green Things. Let them know about the discount you get for BYOB, and how much healthier you feel after going organic or walking to work. The more people aboard the green train, the better the ride!
THINK PINK! GO GREEN! SAVE THE WORLD!

In Loving Memory of Alexander McQueen 1969-2010(Our Fashion Hooligan)

My task was to blog about Fashion week but I was floored yesterday when I found out Alexander McQueen was found dead in his home in London yesterday, the first day of Fashion Week.
Alexander McQueen was born in Lewisham, London, March 16, 1969. McQueen knew at an early age that designing was what he wanted to do, he started off by making dresses for his sisters. McQueen graduated at London’s prestigious school for fashion, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design with his Masters in Fashion Design and his whole graduation collection was was bought by Isabella Blow, another great designer who is supposedly the one who convince McQueen to Change his first name from Lee to Alexander.
McQueen’s earlier collections where very daring and radical earning him the title as “The hooligan of English Fashion “ and L’enfant terrible.“ In 1996, McQueen became head designer for Givenchy and produced his first couture line in ‘97, which he later said was crap in a Vogue interview. 2001 McQueen’s contract with Givenchy ended and he successfully founded his own label. McQueen’s audacious pieces earned him The British Designer of the year 4 times. He was also awarded the CBE and named The International Designer of the year at The Council of Fashion Designer Awards.
By 2007 McQueen had boutiques in London, Las Vegas, New York, Milan and Los Angeles, sealing his own designs, perfumes and accessories. McQueen’s designs was influenced by many things such as his scuba diving, in October of 2009 his fashion show, “Plato’s Atlantis,” had an under water theme that was influenced by the things he saw while scuba diving.

On February 3rd McQueen lost his mother. He tweeted that week about how upset he was about loosing his mother, and although he said he was getting better, relatives say that he took the death the hardest.
Yesterday, February 11th, one of his cleaners found McQueen hung in his home, but it isn’t confirmed that his death was suicidal. It is said that he died a few days before he was found. Today was his mothers funeral.
McQueen is survived by his Father, his three sisters, Janet and Jacqui McQueen, and Tracy Chapman, and his brothers Tony and Michael McQueen.
A post-morterm is scheduled on February 15th and a Coroner’s inquest later that week.
McQueen’s pieces have been seen on celebrities like Rihanna, Nichole Kidman, B Jork and his biggest fan, Lady Gaga.
McQueen’s Pre Spring/Summer line is full of vibrant colors and great pieces and I’ve been told that his Fall/Winter line is even better.
!!Long Live McQueen!!

Astrology, Numerology, and Chinese Zodiacs

I'm not a super sticious girl, I don't believe that bad luck comes on Friday the 13Th, and I don't for Urban legends, but lately (Lately as in 6 days ago) I've been really freaking out over Astrology, Numerology and Chinese Zodiac.
I checked my horoscope on the 1st and to my surprise it was so right. My whole day was posted on the Internet, but I just brushed it off as a coincidence. But it made me curious, I had to check it the next day, and again it was right on the money, telling me exactly how I felt about the new year, and every day after after that, its been CORRECT!
So I'm obviously freaking out here, I'm thinking some one is talking my life and using it as inspiration for the "future". So I decided to check my Chinese zodiac, to see if it was in line as my horoscope, AND IT IS! It has my whole personality down to a T, it even pen pointed my favorite number and why I liked it.
It's SO freaky, but I don't think I will doubt the powers of the universe and astrology EVER again.

Happy Endings and New Beginnings

Happy endings and New Beginnings
2009 has finally been laid to rest, and now its time for a New beginning!
I love New years, it’s the perfect time to redo yourself, and since this year also marks the beginning of a new decade, it makes things even better because it gives me a reason to redo me in 10 yrs. Lol. Madonna says she redoes herself everytime she makes a new album, why? It keeps you intresting, and not just to others but to your self. How proud of your self would you be if picked up a sewing class and made your own dress, or decided to persue your dreams in acting and got a lead role in a play.
So start yourself over this year, go get a daring new hair cut or a really hot new color, change your style up, go after your dreams, work on your petty flaws. The one Im working on is my lack of respect for time.
My theme for this new year/decade is new beginnings. I want to start this year off fresh and brand spaken new with a clean slate. Last year I was very unhappy, and depressed, but I ended the year on a great note even though I was sick with the flu (lol). Im going to start this year off by pleasing myself, which Is something I NEVER did last year or decade! My New years resolution is to make myself happy and help others do the same.
Being happy with yourself Is the beginning to everything! You cant go out, be in a relationship, chase your dreams, make new friends, or anything else If your not happy with yourself. Self Happiness is Key!!!
Ok Dollies,I hope you all had a Happy ending and have a great New beginning!!!
!!Happy New Year!!
