Happy Belated Holidays!!!!1

Hola Dollies!!!!

I love the Holidays, besides the cold weather, warm clothes and sales; you get to witness firsthand how the holidays take a great effect on everyone.
It really warmed my heart seeing how people, complete strangers, where being so loving towards each other. It was so great to see that I seriously want to cry just thinking about. Than on top of that all the family time you get to have.

My family have a Christmas Eve party every year, and ever since we lost a lot of our relatives, the parties have been kind of lame, but this year we hand games, we did Secret Santa like we usually do, had a little Christmas play and sung Christmas songs. It was the most fun, I got to see my prego cousin who is about ready to pop at any moment, and my little cousins came out for Louisiana. It was GREAT!!!!!
Than on Christmas we woke up to hot coco moo (hot chocolate) and we opened our gifts and ate the best breakfast. Than went to my Grandma House and watched movies, played games, ate the biggest dinner ever that included my Grannies famous sea food gumbo than opened up more gifts. I’m so grateful for my family, they are nuts at times but I wouldn’t change them for anyone else.
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with your family and friends!!!!

10 Gift Ideas For Your Ken

HI DOLLS!!
I was talking to my cousin earlier about what she should get her boyfriend for Christmas, she has decided on a pair of socks (SMH). Her decision had me wondering, what would be the perfect gift for your boyfriend? So went around (the enternet) asking guys what they would want. I added some creative ideas to the answers and got some really good gifts.

1. A Pair of Concerts Tickets
Having two tickets to see they're favorite band is the best gift (next to sex I mean). Most guys dont even care where the seats are, as long as they get to sit in one of them. THese gift is perfect because it shows that you know him, and it will be even better if you dont invite yourself to this outing. Trust me, he'll invite you anyway just dont push it on him.

2. Ken&Barbie's Infinite Play List
Tell me it wasnt the cutest thing ever that Nick (Nick&Norah's Infintie Playlist)made mixed Cd's with a special playlist for his (stupid) Ex? It was adorable, and guys think its adorable to! So make him a mixed CD or beter yet get a little MP3 or IPOD and download a special playlist to it. He will love it, becasue he gets to hear the songs that reminds you of him (and he can add his own songs to it).

3. VIDEO GAMES!!!
Video Games are AWSOME! And I know you might have a Ken that swears he dose not play video games, but if you get him the right game he will LOVE IT!! There's a game for every type of person out there. You have a rockin Ken, get him Rock band, or Beatles Rock Band, you have a Baller, get him Madden or NBA game, An Artist would love Little Big Planet, and everyone loves a racing game. Plus Old school games are GREAT! Pac Man, Tetris, Mario Brothers, all those classics are perfect. They even make them with they'r own adapter that he can hook up to his tv, and the price is great. So suprise him with a vido Game thiss year

5. Picture Perfect
This can be founked in many ways, the best would be a digital camera, and with places like Target and Wal-Mart, you can get one for a steal, But if thats still a bit pricey, get him Poster of his favorite movie, or favorite Band, or give him a pic of you. Not one like the girlies gave theyre mates in the old days with a signature. something racey and sexy, like a pin up pic, He will love it, and if you guys brake up, you wont have to worry about falling into a Rihanna situation (Nude pics are a no no).(18 or over plz)

6. Movie Night!!
Movies are AWSOME!!! This guy was like he looooooves getting movies for gifts, old, new, whatever, you can never have enough movies. So my idea is to get a good flick add some pop corn, and movie candy and you have a movie pack! It is perfect, you might end up using the pack that weekend.

7. Clothes?
This guy said he likes getting clothes for Christmas, becasue he dosent like shopping for them his self (lol),and he isnt the only guy with this thought either. I know your thinking "YAY, I can finally dress him the way I want him to dresse!" No, this is not that opportunity. Get him a cool Graphic hoodie, or a band T-shirt, or even a pair of Vans, but dont go so far as to get him a pink button down shirt, he will be so dissapointed.

8. Time
Alot of guys actually want watches for Christmas, the question is what kind of watch? I would recomend a Vans watch, but besides that, calvin Klien has awsome watches, and so dose Roca Wear and Sean John. They are a bit pricey, but nice watches are just that, so you will be paying for quality and brand, but its worth it.

9.Home Made Delights
This is a perfect example of the saying, "Its the thought that counts." To give a home made gift means theres alot of thought, love and time behind it, which is why alot of guys love this gift. A drawing, hand made card, hand made jewelry, cookies, what ever, he's going to love it because you made it.

10. The smell goods

Everyone wants to smell good, so why not bye him that new cologne by Usher, or a smell good pack by Axe. He will wear it almost every day, so thats a good thing but, and thats a big BUT. Would if his auntie, and sister, and secret santa, and cousin, and grandma, got him some calogne too? Thats what you have to keep in mind with this gift, It dosent require much thought behind it so theres a good chance that he has alot more smell goods, and yours might not be really important.

Ok, thats all I got on Gifts for now!

I <3 Winter

YA! ITS WINTER!!!!
I absolutely love the winter time, its my favorite season after summer of course. The cold weather makes it the perfect time to wear boots, big coats, gloves, scarfs, and hats. Not to mention its the perfect time for major cuddling and hot chocolate (take that whatever way you want).

The best part is Christmas. I love how everyone is so happy and selfless (not selfish). And my favorite parts, food and SHOPPING! The Christmas holiday brings the best sales, deals, and sometimes the craziest shoppers. But its the perfect time to have a girls outing at the mall, and I love shopping for other people so its also a great time to splurge on your loved ones and the less fortunate.

I wold say snow but, it doesn't snow in my part of California, but the rain is beautiful and works as great background music, lol. So if you can, get out there and enjoy the winter time!!!!!

Barbie Loves: OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

The first time I saw a pair of over the knee boots was when I was 4 years old. I was watching Pretty Women, and saw Julia Roberts (one of the best actresses EVER) putting on her black boots and coloring in the heel with a black marker. I thought those boots where the smartest creation ever. I mean think about it, a shoe that makes your legs look as if you ran track, makes your legs look longer and leaner, covers all the way up to the knee, makes you look like you have the perfect booty, and intensivies they switch when you walk, GENIUS!!!!

Over the years the boots have been re-done to look more runway instead of ho track and now they are serious must haves. Especially if you live where I live, we dont get snow but we do get rain, and when it rains out here, it rains hard; so these boots are perfect, they keep your legs from being SOAKED!!

It's obvious that these boots are a serious trend, I mean you see almost everyone with a pair now, but the question isnt who its how? How are they being worn you ask? HORRIBLY!!!!! OTKB's (Over the knee boots) are like red lipstick, really cool, but if you dont know what your doing, you can make a fol out of yourself, so here are a few tips on mastering the art of sporting the OTKB's:

1.DONT GO TO SHORT!
Alot of people think that since the boot is so high up, than you most where something super short, that is a nono. I'd say an inch of skin and nothing more, if you show to much you will be looking as if you should be working the track.

2.DONT GO TO BIG
Make sure the boot actually fits. And I mean fits your foot and leg, the last thing you want to do is look like a clown. Plus it will be alot harder trying to walk around in these boots if you got them to big.

3.WEAR SOMETHING UNDERNEATH
Besides the fact that its cold now, its also cuter when you have on some leggings or some skinny jeans under the boots, especialy if your top isnt that long.

Last, WORK THE BOOTS!!! The best way to make these boots work for you is to where them with confidence, confidence sales everything.

Stuck In The Middle....

OK! So I watched The Tyra show earlier and it was about biracial people dis likeing theyre other half. Although I hate to say it, but it kind of hit home for me.

Im a biracial girl, my Mommy is black and my Dad was white, and since he wasnt around I was brought up only knowing my black culture. I never thought that being mixed was an issue untill everyone found out my Dad was white and began to tease me about it.

When I think about what they said now I laugh but back then when I was a little kid it really hurt. My friends and cousins would be like "Dont play with the little white girl," or we'll be doing some cheers or having a club and they would be like "No white girls aloud." I hated my light skin and hair, I hated my body and my stupid mood ring eyes (lol). Than when I tried to make friends out side that race, the others acted as if I scared them. I would sit by a white girl and she would stand,So as you can see I was litterally stuck in the middle.

I had it set in my head that I wasn't going to be excepted by my white community so my goal was to make it in the black community. I use to wish I could be dark skinned, but since that obviously wasn't going to happen, I had to prove that I was just as black as everyone else in my "hood," so that meant that if all the other girls where cutting school, so was I, if they where smoking and drinking so was I.Stealing, fighting, cursing, whatever made me more hood, more ghetto, more black, I did (except for sexing, I didn't go that far) I was obviously going down a road of self destruction at 98mph.

I was finally slapped with reality when I was kicked out of middle school ( and my mom almost tried to kill me) all those girls I was trying to impress still out casted me. It was like no matter what I did I wasn't going to be excepted. Which really like frosted my cookies (got me mad) because I was being someone else and doing that got me in serious trouble.

ANYWAY! After struggling in continuation school, and being labelled a difficult child, I began to except myself as a mixed girl. I excepted the fact that I was girly, I rather be a cheerleader than talk about being one, I admired Barbie and collected the dolls even though the other girls called me a lame for doing so, I loved dancing and singing and Id rather reach for the stars inAdd Videostead of reaching for the sky. It was all weired to some girls in my neighborhood(both black and white) but it was perfect to me.

After a while I was fine being the weired black girl, and although I went threw all that I still only claimed my black side. Not because I didn't like the white but because I figured that all they saw was a black girl, so that's who I was being. I found out that a lot of my other(white) half didn't like that I didn't claim them. My ex use to get so mad when I never claimed my white side, and so did his mom, than it got to my Grandpa, who I almost barely spoke to, but made me sit down and have the longest talk ever with him.

I appreciate the talk of course, I learned a whole lot that day, that was when I finally became happy with the whole me. I know now, I wont be excepted by everyone and I'm cool with that. I have no problem being stuck in the middle even if I'm here by myself, because I'm happy there.

Do I Ever Blog?

No I dont. I know I suck, "Why have a blog if I never blog?" IDK.

The crazy thing about that is Im always writing, and I mean ALWAYS writing. And I write about the most random things, I just dont type. SMH. Sad right? I know.

So besides me not likeing to type, I also dont blog because I dont really have the time. Im a stay at home nanny for a 1 year old, 3yr old, 10yr old and 12yr old, plus Im a student, and a cashier, so Im pretty much drowning under all my responsibilities, BUT its cool.

Any way, so what Im saying is Im go blog my pink Ace off!!!!
